Comfortable in his boots

I spent a weekend with all-around rodeo champion Larry Mahan on his ranch before I wrote a word of copy for his line of cowboy boots. We rode horses. He told stories. We drank Goldschlagar by the fire and looked up at the stars. Once I got to know him, the words were easy.
